I understand this is a basketball fan forum so this kind of analysis is to be expected, but I think McHale is a good coach and it wasn't him that cost us the game.

We couldn't hit any shots man. Coach can't make the ball to in the hoop. Clips did well crowding the paint and with Deandre protecting the rim coupled with we couldn't hit **** resulted in the loss.

We didn't lose because of Coaches philosophy. We lost because we had bad aim and couldn't get to the paint effectively

It is a travesty that Harden who is having an MVP season generates so many plays and the current personnel mix is incapable of capitalising consistently.

Against the likes of GSW and LAC, it is just frustrating because it seems the Rockets have their measure only to fade badly at critical times. Those teams target/ nullify the Beard because they know his teammates are not likely to beat them.

This team shooting 40% of its shots as 3's is NOT
basketball. Especially in a game like last night,
when no one is making 3's, why don't they drive
    to the basket?
This team might not even make it to the
playoffs, the way they play. They might lose their
spot to the up and coming teams
    in the standings.

Hogwash. This means that no coach should ever be blamed for losses, and none of them should ever be fired. With this line of thinking, Ty Corbin = Popovich, and if only Sacramento's players had hit shots, Corbin would still be their coach. You can't let coaches off the hook so easy.

So where do you draw the line as a coach? What if every single shot attempt the Rockets took for the entire game was a three pointer? Should the coach step in at that point??

No excuse. Off course the Clippers were doing to use Jordan that way, it happens every time against the Clippers.

Where is the preparation and focus on finding a way to get around that tactic?

Things get though and Mchale always does the same thing. Go small and let the team jack up 3's.

Mchale is a players coach, when it comes to the x's and o's he has no idea.

The Kings are 18-34, Rockets are third in what some are saying is the toughest division ever. We have missed Dwight for long stretches and have no big men. I am not the biggest McHale fan but how can you hate the results so far? Teams have bad games. Chill.

McHale's offense is simple. There are ways to set up shots closer to the basket even if the opposing team is packing the paint. Curls/off ball screens, cuts the basket etc. Close mid range shots would have been more effective than jacking up 40 threes. I really despise McHale as our head coach. We will not win a ring with him at the helm. You can quote me on that.

When you don't know what to do (like McHale has said several times himself) you just let the players do whatevery they want.

    McHale is a garbage coach.
