Suns are finished for this year, it's inevitable. They should follow the Rockets lead, keep trading expiring assets for future assets until you can trade / draft / recruit a stud or 2.

Y'all want to give up Terrence Jones AND The NOP 1st rounder for a half season rental of Dragic? I mean sure, he MIGHT re-sign with the Rockets.. but there's zero guarantee. Did I miss weed being legal in Texas?
Jones isn't that valuable, just another tweener forward, and I think it would be pretty obvious that he'd sign to stay here so long as we offered him the max.
You obviously don't do that without assurances from Dragic that he will resign. Since he's only played in Houston and Phoenix I'd say there's a good chance. And then you pay him. He doesn't have a connection anywhere else.
are you just now following morey? he wouldn't do it if there wasn't a very good chance dragic wouldnt stay here for the near future. and yes you make the move especially when he could potentially be the final big piece for your immediate core.
Laughable. The only assurance Dragic has given is that he will test the market and evaluate all options. He's not going to be traded to Houston and immediately sign an extension. I have followed Morey for a LongTime. He has rarely overpaid for a player. TJones and NOP 1st is overpaying for a half season of Dragic. For the record, I would be willing to give up NOP + a Capella or maybe Canaan (who I love) type asset. Terrence Jones is a very good player that somehow all of you forgot about since his injury and D-Mo's emergence.
It's no secret that the Suns are getting impatient with Gerald Green. If they don't want Jones, substitute K-Pap for him. He can't shoot, but he can improve their defense. I am ok with giving up the Pels pick for Goran.
and throwing capella's name around isn't worth anything. he probably has little to zero value right now.
