Looks like this is the cougar's Super Bowl. SMU is hosting ESPN college gameday on Saturday so maybe they will look past UH.
SMU has to win out to make Tourney. NCAA just doesn't respect them. They will not look past this game since it was UH that bounced them out of conference and NCAA tourney last year. So, is a lot of UH fans attending tonight's game? I just saw the whole marketing ploy and adverts for the game. I think a good number of SMU alumnis will be there unless they're at the NAPE expo.
Should be. I hope so since it's a really late game... Just came from bww and saw a crap ton of smu fans...last season they brought a decent crowd on a sunday afternoon. I expect it to me more since it's a night game on a weekday. I want to beat the SMU phonies!
About to lock it down. The team is looking strong now for the first time. Baker went into hero mode and Stiggers was solid. Pollard played like the superior athlete. Suprisingly strong basketball all around from a totally lost team during the regular season. Next, we knock out Tulsa.
Baker nearly Coog'd it at the end. Can't make the same mistakes and expect to beat Tulsa. Chicken needs to step it up, too.
Cougars showing some heart here, back from the dead to within 4 at the half. Suddenly they are in this game and playing with direction.
kind of annoying having to watch Avon Barksdale's attorney for such a long stretch instead of the basketball game.
Are we this good? Scoring 100 ppg ( 1st ) and giving up 60 ppg ( 5th ), Pollard dumping in 20 ppg and the team dishing out 12 assists per game. Is something happening here?
