Big blow to the Revs, they have to take Lee Nguyen out just before heading into extra time

AEG's pride and joy wins another MLS cup. They paid good money for it.

LA Galaxy really take the fun out of MLS. They are clearly the best team every season.

Donovan leaving, I think will hurt the Galaxy a lot - even though Keane was their best player this year, Donovan was their 2nd best, and it will hurt that he is gone.

I do suspect he will eventually come back though, guys who retire at this young of an age, generally have a change of heart by year 2.

the Sounders were clearly the best team all season... the MLS cup winner doesn't mean anything

Seattle only finished 3 points above LA during the season while scoring fewer goals and giving up more. And then lost to them in the playoffs. I wouldn't call that being clearly better.

Interesting that Seattle, with that fan base, has not won a title yet.

No worries. AEG will invest another $20 million to sign a designated player. Hell the Dynamo might even get some crumbs hat fall off their table.

The Galaxy still have defender Omar Gonzalez who played with the USA national team in the World Cup last summer and could be one of many future big stars in the league and the USMNT.

Why? It was a 50/50 chance. Why "ignorantly"? Everyone else bet on something, too. LOLs @ your assessment. Ignore me again!
