Since they didn't cast Negan (I don't think) and all the major storylines kind of close up last year I figured they were just biding time for the rest of the year. I wouldn't expect much from the show this year.
But... but, It was as if it was a Terrence Malick story... (and I suspect I am not the only one that wondered who Terrence Malick and why should I care). But at least two people made sure to say it on Talking Dead... so I reckon it was an important talking point...
Was a bit different but a nice change of pace in bringing some resolution to Tyrese's character. Definitely felt they fell short on developing him but they made up for it slightly here as they hit the right emotional notes. Bad episode, let alone worst ever? Not even close. What I liked is you can sense the group has gone far beyond their limit. They're tired of running, the killing and dying. Would be nice to see them get some kind of reprieve, if shortlived. And I'm guessing it wasn't heavily promoted because it doesn't need to be at this point. Scored 15 million viewers, which is more than the fall finale.
Lol, such a stupid episode. How the hell did he lose all that blood from a bite??! And then, if it really was that bad (Yeah right).. Why just give up there?? They really made his character weak compared to what I heard about in the comics... Like in the comics he's Rick's best man. Of course characters are different etc., but man that was just weak ****.
It's already been shown that zombies bite through human flesh like a stick of butter so for him to lose all that blood from 2 bites is hardly that big of a leap. It was a super weak way for him to go out though. Not impressed.
A shame they couldn't capture the comic version of Tyrese, they had the right actor for him but just missed the mark on how they wrote him. Episode was ok, would have been more interesting if he hadn't Spoiler died actually...
The blood came spurting out like it was from a freaking firehose. It was wholly unrealistic and it made me belly laugh.
Spoiler Clues... 1) "Wolves not far" 2) Noah's mom's head bashed in 3) Houses burned down 4) Zombies with "W" carved into their foreheads 5) Car tracks leading into the wall Clearly the next group of bad guys has been identified
What was up with the episode? I was not impressed. Beth's death was more shocking. I thought that they would at least shoot or stab him in the head so he wouldn't turn into a zombie when they buried him. Oh, someone on my FB ruined the show for me by posting spoilers! Don't you hate that?? I forgot that the show was returning Sunday night or I wouldn't have gotten on FB after the show.
Tyrese died an idiot. What was he doing...daydreaming about simpler times while looking at family photos? It's basically the last thing you should be doing in a zombie apocalyptic world...is zoning out. Good riddance. Lame way to off another character.
Tyrese holds off a swarm of zombies in one episode then gets raped by a kid zombie. What a tool...I'm glad he's gone.
Yeah, just like the story behind the weird hospital police people was 'unfolded', right? I seriously doubt they have any kind of plan for most of what they're putting in the show now. They're scuffling to recover from a horribly-written and executed first half of the season and I just don't see it happening. Sure this show will continue to draw numbers, but for me this show has run its course and died.
Invested too much time. I have to see what happens, even if it is crap. I enjoy spoilers on Walking Dead. Now, shows like BCS, I avoid spoilers and am really anticipating the new episode. I already know what happens the rest of 5B because of the spoiling dead forum.
Gee what a clever rebuttal. (See post #395 of this thread) I'm frustrated at how bad they jacked up a show that I used to look forward to, and I'm expressing my parting thoughts on it. Thicken your skin a bit and deal with it
