I say we lose the next two games before the break. Just want to have lower expectations so I don't come disappointed with a potential 3 game losing streak.
I'd rather go for Isaiah Thomas - younger, better shooter from behind the arc, have motor, his wage is lower. But I guess I'm the only one who would take Isaiah over Goran
Need to go into the All Star Break on a great note by winning the next two games. Will be watching to see Dragic and how he interacts with the Rockets.
POR was just a bad game (aside from bev). Our bench has really improved, they're becoming real scary (our 3rd rotation beat GSW's 2nd). Harden will make Tucker cry, DMO hit his hooks and the bench will play great how it normally has been. PS Smith's 3pt isn't a fluke, he improved that ****
I have no gripes with the weather from Oct-May. I never get used to summer here, hate it, but it's only intense for a few months.
The Rockets need to get Dmo a decent number of touches in the post every game. I don't understand their reluctance given that he is a good passer out of the post and in the interior. It's not like he is a ballhog and they won't ever see the ball again if they pass it to him. The way they play now Dmo mostly gets to touch the ball in pick and rolls but although he is willing to do this that is not really his strength. Fortunately he is very good at setting screens and Harden can usually take advantage. To me it feels like the Rockets are not patient enough to establish the interior game before bombing away. Because of this their 3 point shots are not as open as they could be. The difference when KPap plays with Dmo is significant. I presume that because they are friends KPap looks for Dmo more. Team play shouldn't be about who is friends with who however. This is the one thing where McHale just isn't doing his job.
