Its amusing how the departure of Lin opened people's eyes, instead of being blinded by the Lin wars.

In Last year's playoffs, Lin played much better than Beverley.

Uh, nah. Anybody with eyes can see Bev is not the same player he was pre-knee and hamstring injury. By your logic, the coaches who voted him all-NBA defense last season were likewise blinded by Lin wars on Clutchfans.

    For the Blazers.

Single-handedly killed the Rockets in two games. Lucky for him one of those games was saved by Troy Daniels 3 pointer in OT.

You should become a fan of Jordan Clarkson.

He is half Asian and Lin is his ball boy. Double win for you.

Jeez, Lin sucked when he was here, but Beverly might be worse. I can't believe I am saying this.

Please oh lord McHale, Play Cannon Ball...

Before his injury, Beverley was a solid backup PG that could bring energy off the bench and change the tempo of the game.

After the injury, Beverley should be keeping the bench warm and cozy and thats about it.

PG spot has been a weak spot for the Rockets since they lost Dragic.

It's crazy to think that we had two starting caliber PG's at one point in Dragic and Lowry. Now we don't even have one. I don't know what's wrong with Bev, but he just isn't the same defensive player he was last season, and if he's not defending like he was, then he's a liability on the floor. I think he needs to shut it down until he can find whatever it was that he lost, and in the meantime, let cannonball play.

He's been playing not to get hurt, to try and get his next contract, felt like that ever since his hamstring injury kept re-occuring

It's Lin saved the Harden's turned over and passed the ball to Daniels for the game winner 3 pointer. Without Lin's save and pass to Daniels, how could he shoot to save the game? Lin also contributed big for other playoff games winning, that can't be denied.

Yeah, after he screwed up and sent the game in OT. Game should have never gone to OT. You Lin worshipers are not fooling anyone of us here.

Troy Daniels wasnt there to save him on another occasion when he running around like a headless chicken and turned it over to Mo Williams.

Lin definitely did contribute BIG for the Blazers. He is the biggest reason Blazers moved on to second round. Lin sucked which is why he was shipped out.

Like I said, its time you started sniffing Jordan Clarkson's jockstrap.

    Jeremy Lin is old news.

Harden didn't show up in last playoffs was the biggest reason Blazers moved on to second round.

Lin didn't show much either for someone getting paid 8 mil a year to come off the bench... Frankly, both Lin and Bev suck nowadays and neither can be relied upon at all.

Jesus Christ, the defense was the reason we lost lol. Harden struggled at times, but I wouldn't necessarily call 26.8/4.7/5.8 on .519 TS% "not showing up." The shooting percentage is a little low but it was higher than Aldridge's for Christ's sake, no one accuses him of not showing up.

Maybe. But their responses to the loss showed their true characters. Harden then worked hard on his game, took responsibility on the loss, and now is considered a favorite for the MVP award. Lin instead proceeded to sulk, passive-aggressively mumbled about Melo and the poster, and then proceeded to look even crappier on a bottom-5 team who benched him for Ronnie Price.

no the biggest reason was LMA went HAM on the rockets, and nobody on the team could stop him.

Again, we musts continue the legacy of Rockets back up PGs.

Lowry, Dragic, Lin, Beverly, Brooks...all were back up PGs before that most people suddenly realized "Hey...he's better than the starter..." this is a legacy that must continue.

Unleash Isiah Canaan. He'll play great long enough for about a year or so and then we can unleash Nick Johnson.
