The guys on Extra Points , Kenny, Carl and some fill in guy just said the new logo is possibly the worst in the NBA. Well that's 3 less mouths at the pregame media buffet. They also said the pinstripes are possibly the worst uniforms in the NBA.
You take that show seriously? They usually have no clue what they are talking about in the 1st place. The fact they hate the logo means it is really cool and will sell.
Hey, here's an idea - start a poll asking whether or not Kenny Hand's shows (radio, tv, whatever) are the most boring, unwatchable pieces of "entertainment" ever and you'll see what kind of regard he is thought of around here.
Exactly...you beat me to it. Btw, Kenny and Carl both work for the competing radio station. They do very little concerning the Rockets now that they no longer air on their station. I think they are paid to dog them every chance they get.
That makes me love the new logo even more. The national media has never and probably never will have any credibility with me. They are nothing more than a bunch of prima donnas that try to be more insightful than the next person.
Thats a bunch of bullsh!t and you know it. Both the polls on here and in the Chron have not been "overwhelmingly" negative.
That's doesn't seem true, and even if it was, who the heck cares what everyone else thinks? Plus, in the end, it's the on-the-court product that matters, not a logo.
I hold out faith for the logo. many times a team's logo goes through some minor tweaking and revision before it hits the floor. if the jerseys look good, then no one will think "god what an ugly logo" in my opinon the logo goes from hideous.. to awesome, just like that
Thanks, but I didn't do it. Someone in the original logo thread did, I forget who.. but they also did one with the colors reversed that looks nice too.
Are you making this up? The logo is simple, at worst. But AWEFUL? "AWEFUL" is a logo done in pastels or polka-dots. Do you know how silly this sounds? It's like a team came out with a white uniform with back letters (plain, at worst) and you get someone that says it's the WORST UNIFORM IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS. Can you say, overreaction? Some of the Rocket logos we've seen around are simple at worst. But not AWEFUL! Talk about being melodramatic! The pinstrips were the worst. But that's why we have new ones this year. Why did they even bring up the old uniforms when they know we're getting new ones?
