I still need to do it on my 29 hunter, but I don't know how lucky we'll be getting a third. Plus it'll be a massive pain in the ass, we managed it because we had 2 sunsinger's self reviving left a right. Sure it likely would have been fine if we just went through more slowly conservatively, but where is the fun in that? That, and I don't even have the mission unlocked anymore.
Bear_Bryant and seclusion. If you need a 3rd, I might be able to help. There are a few obstacles though: 1.) I have been playing way too late during the work week, and it's definitely taking a toll. I might just end up passing out at like 8 or 9 one of these days, and 2.) I think we might try and finish up the Crota Hard Mode (at the Iryut checkpoint, so we have all the hard stuff to go!). However, planning around that, I'll gladly help is I can. Unfortunately I can't say exactly when I'll be able to help out.
I probably won't be on much tonight honestly, I have a bunch of other junk I've been neglecting and I'm getting ready to move in a couple weeks. I might have some time tomorrow night or this weekend if Bear hasn't finished up the nightfall by then.
Sounds good. Unfortunately for me, nights work for me (I usually get on between 9 or 10, depending on when the little ones go to bed). And I am sure my offer to help was vague and not very helpful, but there are times when my clan needs 1 more for a raid run, and I join those asap, so I don't want to offer help, only to renege on it and be a jerk.
No worries man. I'm down to run some crucible too. I just need more exotics. I only have one which is very frustrating.
So I finally beat Crota on Hard Mode last night. After spending a lot of hours trying to do so last week (to no avail), it was pretty darn rewarding taking him down last night. I had previously had terrible luck with the raid drops, and the only raid weapon before yesterday was the Black Hammer. However, after the full raid last night, I now have both the Abyss Defiant and Fang of Ir Yut, so I am pretty stoked about that. I typically run a scout rifle as my primary, so I was really hoping for the Fang! Crazy story during one of our attempts last night: Bungie trolled us pretty hard. So we are running a damn near flawless run. We have Crota down to a very reasonable amount for the final attack, like 10% left. We all down him with rockets. The sword bearer starts doing his thing, and Crota has a very tiny sliver of health left. As he is in his motion for his final blow, in mid-air, the sword disappears, and Crota enrages, and we all die. I don't think we took too long either, because obviously the sword is temporary. It was pretty crazy. It was one of those "Xbox Record That" moments that you really don't want! Luckily, it just took us another 2 runs or so to officially kill Crota.
Cool, congrats. We beat hard mode VoG and Crota's End normal last week. I'm moving this weekend, so I doubt I'll be able to try anything but hopefully next week we can smash hard mode Crota.
Thanks buddy, and that sounds like a plan. I find it pretty crazy that we haven't been able to join forces just yet, but when we do, I am sure domination will soon follow.
Yes, and no. You will be squishy (and technically you can't even go into Crota's End without a level 30 fireteam leader), but it's such an easy raid compared to VoG as long as you have other people who are higher level (preferably 31-32) that know what they're doing you'll be fine. I haven't been on as much lately, but I'm sure we'll meet up soon enough. I think Friday nights are going to be our raid night in general.
I'm late to the party but where is multiplayer. I can't even beat the first level on earth. I keep running out of bullets and can't melee the boss without dying. I'm getting too old for these games.
It's called Crucible, and you have to be level 5 in order to access it. You basically go to the log in screen and choose Crucible as your destination.
pulse rifles were the least used weapons in the game. Ive actually used overoul edict quite a bit in pvp; its not bad within close quarters. the increase in damage puts the damage on par with other primaries.
