    Some of ya'll just funny.

"I'd give the Suns, um, DMo...."

"No way. No Dmo. I'd give'em Tjones and this that and the other thing...."

"Tjones? Pass me that pipe you're smoking. I'd give Capela and New Orleans' first."

"You're nuttier'n a squirrel's turds if you give the Pelicans' pick. We need to save that for our trade for Kevin Love." (basketballholic) "In fact, that'd be my offer. Capela and squirrel turds."

"I wouldn't give up Capela. Just the turds...."

I'd actually rather offer Jones than Capela. I feel like Capela could have the higher ceiling and Jones only has this year and next under team control before becoming a FA. Since he's almost guaranteed to remain a bench player, I think it's likely he looks for a scrub team to start on when he hits FA so that means he's probably gone via trade before that anyway. Give Capela another year or two in order to see if he becomes something.

How has he said "all the right things"? He's mentioned several times that he will "explore" his options......even mentioned a few teams. That's not playing nice.

He's also openly questioned the "3 point guard" system they are using in Phoenix. He's played almost all of his minutes at the 2 and 3, and you can tell it bothers him.

The reason Asik did what he did was because that was his only play. He was under contract for another 2 years when we signed Dwight, so he could not legitimately threaten us with free agency. Dragic is on the cusp of free agency, so he can take a more nuanced approach than Asik could and did.

I would trade anybody but Harden, DMo and Howard to get Dragic and his bird rights.

I guess a lot of the angles the Rockets were working have halted since the Howard situation.

Keeping the big men is more important than bringing in a point guard. You can not win in the NBA without competent front court players.

The Rockets should stand pat. They have Beverly who is competent. They have Harden who is playing as a point from the shooting guard position. It would be ideal to have a true point guard. But trading away Jones or D-Mo will severely deplete the front court.

I think Morey might still pull a move here or there, but I doubt if it is anything other than a Morey move in search for untapped potential.

I don't understand why this is still an argument. Dragic would be a half-season rental. He is gonna get paid come offseason and we aren't going to be the ones paying him. You don't give up assets like DMo (especially), Jones, NOP pick, etc that can get you pieces for future growth for a half-season rental.

Dumb. And Morey isn't dumb. Not happening.

You make it sound like the 28 year old expiring contract is a total scrub. If you want to write it like that, you should mention the expiring contract is a 28 year old with Houston ties, can create off the dribble, shoot the 3, decent defender, and a perfect running mate for Harden. Just saying....

But isn't Morey the only team that could offer Gogi the 5th year max option w/ more money?

Not saying he's a scrub at all.......just that you don't give up a talent like DMo for anyone less than a superstar. Dragic is many things, but he's not a transformative player. If he were, the Suns would be in the top 5-6 in the West instead of battling with OKC and NOP for the 8th spot.

I'd trade high, if indeed high it is, with TJo. I believe his ceiling is lower than DMo's or Capella's and can find short-term insurance waiting for CC to develop a B-level game.

Am I just blind to Jones' greatness???

I would give up either DMo or TJones but not both for Dragic, preferably TJones out of the two.

If you fast forward one year and we have Dragic but no DMo and a healthy Howard, we will be unstoppable. No healthy Howard and no DMo and we are in serious trouble.

Right now, we have J. Smith, so there is no a room for Caplea. Plus that the rockets have to pay him of four million dollars. I think he is the first one to go.

Reasonable, actually. I just am of the belief they want Frye II.

I also think the Utes are an interesting 3-team alternative.

I love Dmo to death, but he's not superstar material imo. I'm partially torn on it, but just think a lineup of Dragic, Harden, Ariza, TJones, Howard is better than Bev, Harden, Ariza, Dmo, Howard.....that's all. Now maybe an in between lineup of Jarred Jack (or like), Harden, Ariza, Dmo, Howard is what Morey goes for....And maybe that is enough? I just think if Phoenix offers Dragic for Dmo, and the way GS is playing, it would be very had to turn down.
