No. Your statement was not about who's better or who had the better recruiting class this year. It was about the relative ground gained or lost: Did you gain ground or lose ground vs. Alabama with this recruiting class? You lost ground. If Alabama replaces a bunch of 5-star recruits with other 5-star recruits, while another program replaces 2 and 3 star guys with 4 and 5 star guys, then the other program has gained ground on Alabama. One program maintained the status quo while another got better, assuming the evaluation method is recruiting ratings. It's basic math.

Is it seriously that hard for you to admit you didn't know A&M signed LSU's DC and made a mistake? Instead, you choose to take the low road and belittle the person correcting you. Awesome, bro.
Chris Rumph to Florida as DL coach. He's now been the DL coach at Bama, UT and Florida the last three years. It leaves UT will two open coaching positions, TE and DL.
I said I did not know that on the previous page. Then I was called ignorant. Sorry I didn't know who the defensive coordinator or A&M was, I truthfully do not care who an out-of-conference team hires and doesn't.
And, no, I won't apologize for making a crack about Kevin Sumlin's history as a defensive head coach, regardless of who his coordinators have been.
They don't even use the TE position any longer and they have like 3 DL guys. Do they really need coaching for those positions?
According to 247Sports (national), no decision has been made, and Strong will meet with Rumph today before he decides. Rumph might be getting a raise.
this ain't 1984 bby Ha, you mean the legion of crap UT fans / bandwagoners that spread their filth on the A&M thread? UT thread was pretty dead most of the season - you guys would rather talk trash about A&M's program than try to praise your own. This is like, the fourth time I've ever posted in this thread. Don't really see too many Aggies here. Who called your ignorant? It really couldn't hurt to know a gigantic hire for a big in-state school, regardless of conference? You didn't seem to have a problem name-dropping Sumlin. Thought you didn't care about ooc teams. Thanks! Sad part was, I didn't even correct him. Just saying that it couldn't hurt to expand one's knowledge about college football. At the worst, it's water cooler talk.
And pointless ****-talking is the other side of the water cooler's coin. C'mon man, it's UT/A&M. If less-than-informed smack talk wasn't allowed, this rivalry would've never made it as long as it has. It's college football, have some fun with it.
