The Bad Man went up for a monster slam, but got fouled. It would have been large. He is very athletic.
Keep him here! Manuel you are right on. Things probably looks that bad because it is their first game. I would start Ba in the next game. I saw a long jumper and hook shot from him and nice footwork on a drop step move on the baseline that did not score.
After watching this game, here are the players that stood out to me. Lakers Eric Chenowith(spelling??)-Great post game, can score very well in the post. Luke Walton-Surprisingly quick, sets up his teammates very well. Jannero Pargo-Quick and great defender. Nice shot too. Rockets Badiane-Ran the floor very well and can rebound. Hawkins-Keeper.Hustles like always and seemed to improve his shot. Shay Seals-After watching him, he looks pretty good out there. He can defend very well, but doesn't look like he has a very good shot. Nachbar-He's not really a standout, but could have done better. Bad turnovers, shot was off, and Walton was giving him trouble.I think he'll do better next game cause you can tell this guy can play. Titto Maddox-Man this guy blows the big one.Little dribbler, learned alot from Moochie this past season. Those are the only people that really stood out to me.I probably missed some other people but oh well.
Nice pass from Hawkin, eventhough he missed the slam but that was ferocious. The Lakers' bodies spilled all over the place when he went up for that dunk.
Does it look like the coaches have implamented any new off or D? Or R they just playing a pickup game? If they have what are the biggest changes noticed? Thanks for the updates
I wonder what the Dream would have done in this game at 19. Ba needs time but let him put it in here in the US.
Hehe about Tito. Francis/Moochie Mobley/Hawkins Posey/Nachbar/Rice Griffin/Taylor/Badiane Yao/Cato What position does Shay Seals play? Did every single Rocket get to play? Not much space for veterans......thanks for your report.
BMW, good recap but you could elaborate more on Ba. I found that he seem to know what to do in the post, offensively, if allowed to go one- on one.
i was watching the game on realplayer and after seeing how baddiane has been playing so far i couldn't understand why this guy was not in the first round, anybody can explain? this is beyond me I doubt there must be something else.
They really should call back Tmo. Chenowith and Leon Smith should make the team. Cook reminds me of Horry.
Seals is listed as a guard. He plays big inside and cuts very well.I still need to see him shoot to see if he has a shot, but thats all I really know about him. He has a big strong body as well.
Badiane was really the only bright spot tonight. The guy has huge long arms, can really hop for those rbounds and knows how to use his body. His Offensive game aint too shabby either. I mean dont get me wrong this guy needs to work on his offence alot, but it looks as we got one of the steals in the draft. Needs to work on his shot blocking and Defence though. White boy was takin him to school.
He looks pretty good posting up, but didn't get the ball much. He has a lot to work on on his offense to make it look more natural. It's just too early to tell.On that one fade away he did, it looked pretty good but he didn't make the shot. At this point, at least his offense is better than Cato's offense.I wish he had Chenowith post up game, that guy looked good out there.
Rocket you are right on the shot blocking. I was thinking that Eric Chen would have been blocked a couple of times by EG. Ba's performance should be put in perspective when you consider he was not playing with teamates who knew him or knew what they were doing against a team that has a lot of good players. Not that I am saying he is in that class but it reminds me on how devastating Amare turned out to be when he started playing with players who knew what they were doing. Although Ba missed some easy layups he would do much better if he was playing with someone who could set him up like Hawkins did on a couple of occasions.
