Walton just made a beautiful ball fake that fooled Nachbar who had to foul Walton to prevent the easy basket.
Boki checked back in...and promptly dribbled the ball off his foot out of bounds. Next possession was a Moocie Norris Special; last second forced shot, rimmer. Rockets look out-classed. It is L.A.'s 4th game vs. ours, but even the talent looks disproportionate. Cook, Chenowith, Walton, Rush, and wazzisname, the cooky former Mavs 1st rounder...all have looked better than anyone we've got.
He is taking a lot of shots. The Rockets offense are playing just like they did when Mooch was in last season. They don't run their offense until 8 seconds left and force a bad shot. 50-29 lakers.
The guy on the Laker squad who has been quiet this game is Leon Smith. The last game they played against the Warriors, Leon was the best player for the Lakers. They have tons of talent, even at this level.
Badiane looks very raw. He has an NBA body. Really long arms... reminds me of Ben Wallace. It's hard to judge him on the little that he's played so far. But from what I've seen, I'd keep him on the roster. He's HUGE. And it's not that they are pushing him around on offense, he's trying to post up, but none of the scrub guards look to pass it to him, so he reposts to try and give them another angle so that he can get the pass. I don't think this guy can be pushed around.
Nice entry pass by Boki lead to an easy 2 for Seals. Hicks is a chuckkah...fired one up from outside, miss. I want to stangle these announcers. Johnson just drew a clear charge, announcers at first tried to call block, admitted mistake on replay. Boki missed again...we are really looking rough, boys. Yeah, Ewing is there, sitting with JVG. Shut the %$#&%#&^ up about Payton and Malone!! Boki blocked by two guys... U...G...L...Y...

LOL! They just showed a clip of JVG, presumably watching the game, and he looked incredibly pained. Rubbing the features off his face. Not a happy camper, but for all I know he just ate a bad hot dog...
Let's hope we can see some real basketball in the seoncd half, I understand it is just summer league game, but the way the rockets were playing is quite pathetic. Everyone in the rockets is playing by themselves out there. They need realize their teammates are there to help them... if they don't let them become part of the offense, then they become part of the opponent's defence.
Tell me about it...the ladies were all drinking here, with friends over, and headed out about 30 mins ago...I stayed behind to catch the game, might join them sooner than planned...this is a sad display.
