We are better without an unhealthy Dwight. His inability to run the floor was a big reason Warriors scored 64 points in the paint that one game imo.

Well, he was at least better than Dorsey!

    ;)

    Fun Facts:

With Dwight Rox are 22-10, without Dwight they are 11-5 - same winning percentage....

When I see teams scoring at the bucket time after time when DWight is out, then I say he's good for us.

I think it's frustrating because even though he's not healthy right now, he's still a plus, but is nowhere near what we know it can be.

True, but if rest is not the cure, and they are searching for a non-surgical option, what does that mean for his future?

Sounds to me, like that patient that has gotten the news they are terminally ill and are searching everywhere for alternative treatments - just doesn't sound good.

He rested nearly a month last time, and that was not enough, if rest is not the cure - then what is.....or...maybe there ISN'T one.

    of course not
howard is still our best rebounder and defender in the lane
problem is ... he hasn't been really been healthy this season

I have criticisms of Dwight's game also but give him a break. He hasn't played at 100% this season and we dog him for coasting.

If he sat out instead of playing through it, we would probably dog on him for being soft and not playing through it.

We're better in some aspects without him and we're better with him in others. In the end, we need him 100% in the playoffs.

No, it's because people still think Dorsey is out there.

Good note. i too think Howard should rest for the month. because afterall, it is about the playoff success this season is about. one-and-out or a bad showing in the second round will be bad.

Any health defect with Dwight limits him tremendously, he doesn't have that 2nd jump right now. It limits him and his offensive game looks elementary.

My guess is that Dwight is out for the year, maybe part of next season. Morey needs to bring in another center if possible, pronto. Our rim defense is almost non existent. There is like a "drive and score here" sign in the lane.

This next month or so is about to prove how ridiculous this thread is and how absurd the Dwight hate has gotten.

I think we are definitely a lot different but have the potential to play as well as we would with a healthy Dwight if the gears all click together. Trade rim protection and some rebounding for more aggression, pace, and spacing.

Not better, but we weren't doing much against good teams even with him in the lineup. So we want him to heal up.

If all Dwight brings is defense...then in retrospect, we should have kept Asik, and traded Dwight for a star pg.
