    Kyle Korver vs. Perfection [IMG]

"THE ATLANTA HAWKS GUARD TOLD USA TODAY SPORTS ABOUT HIS RELENTLESS PERFECTIONISM, FROM PAINFUL JOURNEYS IN THE PACIFIC TO THE 20-POINT CHECKLIST FOR HIS NBA-BEST THREE-POINT SHOT."

Little bit of a long read, but well worth it.

If we had a guy that shot that well from 3, we'd be the best team in the league by far

Am I crazy to think that if Korver was a Rocket, he would not be shooting like this. He still would obviously be a great shooter, but it seems like anyone who puts on Rockets red, immediately becomes less of a shooter.

The 3 point shooting contest will be fun. I will be rooting for Korver... a.k.a Ashton's long lost athletic brother.

Oh no there is a spot where he does not shoot 50% the horror:eek:

I have been a fan of Korver since his rookie day with the 76ers. I liked a player who would shoot more 3 point FGs than 2 point FGs

I loved him at Creighton, loved him in Philly, HATED him in Utah, and now love him again in Atlanta. The guy was a dead-eye shooter in college, and has only gotten BETTER in the pros. He reminds of Curry in the sense that people doubted his ability to come over to the NBA game and succeed with his style of play, but he's proven everybody wrong.

I don't know about the 3 point contest in ASG, but this guy is shooting some amazing, highly difficult, off balanced, 27 feet long 3 pointers this season.

Its pretty amazing for what he had done so far.

I love seeing a player constantly work and improve over years. It doesn't happen as often as it should in the NBA.

What was the key to the Pels beating Atl yesterday? Were Atlanta just off? Was there a specific defensive game plan?
