Well I like to dwelve into photoshop every now and then, so here's a few fix-ups and suggestions that others posted that I think would work w/the Rox new logo(I didn't take TOO much time on these, so sorry in advance for the quality): #1-Same logo, Silver outline, outline on ring #2-Same logo, Silver ring #3-This one I made to put an emphasis to show where the lower case "h" was #4-This one was made to emphasize the location of the uppercase "H" If you have anymore suggestions, colorways, or anything else you wanna see done to the logo, I'll be around periodically to try and hook it up when I'm free. Oh yeah, by the way I found these on the HD when I was lookin round. Good time memories. Some of the old Uniform designs that Rocketeer made and I tweaked the color way with. #1 - Rocketeer's original...I think I added on the grey lines. #2- I made a grey/blue/red colorway #3-A gold/red colorway
First of all, you definitely shouldn't save those logo pictures as JPGs. GIF compression works much better considering the logo picture is basically three colors. Second of all, I think the only change that would really improve the logo for me is by removing the tails at the bottom of the R. Although I like your idea of highlighting the H within the R somehow, I don't think an opacity change is the way to do it.
Yea I was in a real hurry just to get it over with, didn't really pay attention so thats why quality was crappy. I was in a rush. And the opacity change was just to SHOW where the CAPITAL H and LOWERCASE H were locaetd in the logo. I didn't mean for them to be DIFFERENT logos.
I think if your gonna have the flames coming out of the bottom of the logo it should only be on the rocket side or the left side and not the right side.
would it make a difference? i mean, if the logo is already finalized i'm pretty sure it would cost a lot of money and headache just to tweak it.
Rockets R'Us - Try your "shading" on just the uppercase "H" on the bottom, but instead of coming to an abrubt halt across the top, have the shading come to a stop in a point/cone, such that it looks like the two sides of the "H" are mini-Rockets. I think that'd look pretty sweet.
