Oh. Didn't see you bolder Kevin Martin. I think it would if it could net us Dieng. The dude is 25 and a rim protector already averaging 10 and 8 and is getting paid less than 2 mil

Did anyone else see Jarrett Jack's stat line tonight? 35 Points, 13 assists 8 rebounds... Nets need picks... Just saying....

The Nets are one of the more realistic trade partners. Opposite conference. In need of salery relief. Need picks. If we could get Jack and Lopez (in separate trades) for expirings and picks to give us more bench strength, I'd take it.

I never said that he was. He would be the back up here and a one year rental. Given The way phoenix has been playing lately, I don't see them trading Dragic and I still don't know why you all think Denver would trade Lawson.

Jack could be reinvigorated for a playoff run with us, if the Nets decide to call it a day by the February deadline. I would pass up on Brook Lopez, and his contract. I hope Morey was just trying to drive up the price to obtain him.

Jarrett Jack does not make this team better. Is he an upgrade over Jason Terry? No, he is not.

Trade deadline is only 19 days away! Can you believe that? I still say that Daryl Morey trades for either Goran Dragic, Ty Lawson, or Darren Collison. My money is on Collison. If we trade for Collison, look for Reggie Evans to be included. Evans is a very good rebounder and defender, and we need another body inside if Dwight Howard is out for a while. A Collison-Evans package will not be cost prohibitive. I think the 2015 Knicks second round pick (should be #31-#33 overall) combined with Kostas Papanikolaou and either Isaiah Canaan or Nick Johnson is sufficient.

I also think Morey would like to add another forward who can shoot threes if he can get one for cheap. Jared Dudley would be great. Luol Deng would be ideal but Miami looks like a team that should make the playoffs all of a sudden with the unexpected emergence of Hassan Whiteside. Also keep an eye on Danilo Gallinari. I think you can get Dudley for a Clint Capela-Alexey Shved package.

So, I am proposing that we send out Kostas Papanikolaou, Alexey Shved, Clint Capela, and either Isaiah Canaan or Nick Johnson--that's ZERO rotation players (plus the second round pick)--and we get back THREE guys (Darren Collison, Jared Dudley, and Reggie Evans) who are all very nice players (well loved by advanced stats this season and in previous seasons) and who will absolutely make this team better.

Anyway, yeah, 19 days! By the way, last year at around this time, I came up with a very short list of Morey trade targets and Jordan Hamilton was on that list (and this was posted, on Clutchfans). True story!

Add Johnson to K-Pap along with the NY 2nd rounder. I would be reluctant to switch Capela with Johnson for Jack, but the Rockets need to try their very best to get past the 1st round, Clint is so far away from contributing in the NBA, so I would be somewhat ok in doing that. If Jones hadn't come back, I wouldn't go that far.

Jarrett Jack is a better player than either Beverley or Terry and would be our starter at PG on this current roster and would be our second playmaker. He'd make this team better.

I think Goran and Lawson are superior to Collison, but he is playing well too.

The Kings may not want to trade him at all, but I am quite sure they would want the Pelicans pick and the NY 2nd rounder as starting points for him. Evans would be a good rebounder, he would make Caveman angry:mad: I like Dudley, but I am not too keen on him.

So if the 'big-3' PG targets, (Dragic, Lawson, Collison), above are unavailable or poor trade values due to their current employers asking too much, does that leave us with the 'lesser-3' PGs that are being shopped: Mo Williams, Jarret Jack and Jose Calderon? Mo's contract ends this year. Jack and Calderon are both on guaranteed contracts for two more seasons: Jack at $6.3M for each season. Calderon for $7.4 and $7.7. Of the three, I'd prefer Jack, but would depend on the deal. Mo & Jose are better 3 point shooters. Calderon may have to come with picks for someone to eat the contract in 2015-16.

Since Harden is the main guy and working so hard day in day out, why dont DM ask Harden who he wants to be recruited? And off course, who he doesnt want on the team. I really feel bad for him that he doesnt have enough supports

    We gotta get PG...

    Lawson
    Dwill
    Gogi
    Reggie
    Burke
    MCW
    Jack

Any of those guys would help a ton! Just need another playmaker...

I like them all, the only one I would pay full price for is Lawson. The others need to be signed to a fair contract before any deal was made. OR obtained by a VERY Rocket friendly deal.

Michael Carter Williams would be sweet in this offense. That would let Bev come off the bench as a Tony Allen defensive specialist and reduce Jet's minutes. I think all it would take is the NOP pick and Cannan. Maybe we could give them back Shved too LoL

We need to trade T jones. I mean don't get me wrong I like the 3 pf lineup and it's good right now with Dwight out but I think t jones is our biggest trading piece. It's ashame cuz I like him and dmo is unreadable and josh smith prolly wouldn't be ideal to trade.

If we got lawson I would be thrilled but I'm not sold on getting Reggie Jackson though. I think thunder would be hesitant and have a james harden happen.
