It's nice to hear that chucky will have a home for the rest of the season.

Chucky Brown: Remembering the Days in Houston
    Posted: February 21, 2001 4:28 PM
Chucky Brown is well remembered in Houston -- he's even got his own fan club -- and the journeyman forward who won a championship with the Rockets in 1995 wrote an article recently for ESPN the Magazine highlighting his NBA career that has been played out with an NBA record 11 teams. His favorite team? The Rockets. "Maybe losing so much hurt more because of my experiences in Houston," said Chucky. "My best playing experience was with the Rockets, mostly because I won a championship there. After riding the ups and downs of a season, earning a championship made it all worthwhile. And the weather in Texas didn't hurt matters. I liked my teammates and the friendly atmosphere of the city, and I was treated well." Best coaches he played under? "Rudy Tomjanovich and Chuck Daly," said Brown, citing they were both very fair and if someone worked hard under them, they got rewarded.
