The logo does look better in Rocketeer's rendering. I'm encouraged that it will look good on uniforms and other official uses. It makes me wish the logo hadn't been leaked and the Rockets could have unveiled it the way they wanted to. I kinda knew they wouldn't manage to keep the secret the whole time, but I wish they could have. Initial impressions are hard to overcome, and they could have made a better one if they had been able to control the stage. Props to those posters who saw the logo but wouldn't post a pic.

Mulder, good insight. I was actually about to ask Tim about this. I have heard that being the Rockets couldnt get the "big R" on the front of the jersey, that they were instead going to incorporate it on the front by using the "Big R" for for the "r" in Rockets. But you beat me to it. Also Tim, I have heard that the Rockets have a secondary logo acompanying the "big R" logo. In fact, I have heard that the secondary logo is the "hidden H" logo that is incorporated in the "big R" logo. Also, I have heard that it incorporated into "Houston" on the front of the jersey, just like the "big R" for Rockets. Is this all true Tim? And can someone photoshop the "big R" logo and turn it into the "hidden H" possible secondary logo. I just want to see what that would look like. Just chop the top curve off of the top of the R and you have it. I woould have done it, but I my computer is down as I am in the process of moving. Right now I am using a crappy school computer? That uniform looks too soft. Better suited for the ladies. You need a dark or strong accent color for the guys' jerseys.

aww crap..nevermind...website just had a hiccup or something. wishful thinkin I guess...I'm ready for the old logo/unis/colors to find its way to the trash.
