The wave is too heavy. Get a Leatherman Juice if you are looking for a multi-tool. I'm not a big fan of benchmade. I had the original AFCK, Emerson and an automatic (forget which model) and thought they were overrated and quality was poor. For affordable pocket knives, I'm a big fan of the kershaw leek with the 14c28n or 13c26 steels. Don't like the other Onion design knives because of the recurve blades. Sharpening them is stupid difficult. I've carried one for the last year and it's almost perfect for my my uses which is mostly cutting open packages and rope.

It's going to be my first knife. I'm willing to spend at most 200 for a quality one that will stay sharp for a while. I love the axis open on the benchmades. So easy to open and fun too. Any more suggestions?

My edc is a Kershaw Leek. Small profile, crazy sharp edge out of the box, quick open, easy to care for. Best knife I've owned.
