Tim- I thought I would start a thread for all those people who admire the marketing campaign and the job you are doing for our beloved Rockets. First, I am a fan of the new logo and I know it is the tip of the iceberg for a wonderful presentation. As I look how Cleveland and Denver presented their logo and uniforms I realize now how they missed out on tactics that would create a more widespread interest. I am thankful for what I like to call your "Top Secret" campaign for making this offseason quite interesting. The new logo presented in the media yesterday has casued quite a stir and a buzz that has people talking. Very little information was provided with this image and it has given a mysterious aura surrounding it that leaves the rest to our imagination. I myself was dying to see or hear any information regarding the new branding for the rockets and yesterdays events left me temporarily satisfied but yearning for more. So far I can see that this whole process has been done properly and with great thought. For this I am confident that the uni's will be on point. The Cavs and Nuggets have already unveiled their new look and it is already old news. Both those franchises had the exposure of the draft and their highly touted draft picks Lebron and Carmelo. The Rox have had a quiet offseason in regards to roster changes, but this campaign and the way it is being done is keeping things interesting. Thanks. Hail The Dream!

Great job on the logo. Great hire on the designer. I can't wait to see how the rest of the clothing and uniforms turn out. Put me down for one cap, a t-shirt, and possibly some cycling socks if you guys decide to branch out. Congrats, DR
havent posted much lately but tim, thank for the job youre doing. the logo looks good, im sure the unis will be good, oh and half the posters who waste time and space just whining need to get over themselves. its not that bad kudos to you and keeping us updated on the logo tim

Ummm ... I just don't have any response. It feels like I should be able to think of something really clever .... but ya got me stumped. Regarding the recent post about the clubhouse thread "Tim lovers" should go to -- if every fan who asked me for free tickets was gay, Houston would have the highest homosexual population on the planet. I agree, Good job Tim. I still hope that the logo can still be refined with more color but I think this is the best logo the rockets have had. The logo did create some commotion... bad luck that you guys had to unveil it when Kobe was facing sex allegations and the Lakers were getting Malone and Payton. The buzz would have been considerably higher had it been unveiled around another time. Can't wait for the uniforms!
Tim- Is there going to be any red, black or silver team basketballs with the logo on it soon? Or do you think that might be later when the uniforms come out? (Nephew's birthday coming up.) Thanks Like this one.
We'll have several styles of basketballs in our team store. Unfortunately, that doesn't open until September. Reebok was pulling the list of available merchandise they have for other retailers for us today. Not sure whether anyone will have stylized basketballs right away, or whether that will be a piece that will follow a little while later. Tim
