BLT Steak: http://www.e2hospitality.com/blt-steak-atlanta/ downtown, one of the best steaks i've ever had. it's a small chain- there are outposts in NYC and elsewhere, but don't let that dissuade you.
There was a thread on ATL last year: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=255579 I've lived in ATL for the good portion of the spring/fall the past few years. What type of foods do you like? What sort of entertainment? What do you drink? What type of scene are you into? I can make some suggestions as I know this place somewhat.
Checking the previous thread... What sucks is our hotel is by the airport... And there is nothing walking distance. Hopefully this is an uber city.
That place frequently has a long line out the door. The Sundial at the Peachtree Westin is very nice. Good food, amazing service, and it rotates giving you great views of the entire city. Drinks are expensive though. Their specialty cocktails are $15 each (though it has been a few years).
