The Chronicle writer who wrote the first article about the new logo. I guess he was going to break the story with some terrible unfinished one, so they just handed the real one over to him yesterday.
Why don't teams just poll the fans. Show the damn logo. Rather than getting feedback on what it should look like, why don't teams ask people to determine what it will look like. It's not brain surgery. Let the people decide. And then if they are torn and you can't get 50% one way or another, the owner can pick. But this whole secret shroud is outdated. It's time for a new system. Seriously.

I don't see the logo being as bad as everyone says it is. I think it's nice and simple. Less is more. My friends in NYC, Dallas, ATL have all seen it and have given positive feedback on it...
Im not too happy with this Dazzle material, or the fact that the players wanted wider shoulder strap. This is not looking good for my taste!
I think they will do just fine... the dazzle look on white will be great especially for the Home unis'. and i liked how the players wanted it ( not too wide like the sixers , but not too small like the old ones ) just how i would have liked it. This is going to be a great season! Good job.

I'm not completely thrilled by it, but i don't think its terrible. It's just the expectations were really high. i really don't like the bottom extensions on the R. They look cheesy. However, I think it will defintely look alot better once it's on a uni.
Yeah, I think that's the part that takes people off guard. ...the jet-streams from the bottom of the Rocket/R.... But I'm more concerned with uniform color combo, rather than logo design. Although, I still think the over-all look of the logo came out very good. I think if the logo DIDN'T have the "jet streams" it would have been BLOCKY and plain. Just an "R." Seems like the "jet streams" were a compromise.
