    The wallpaper is awesome. I changed my XP color scheme to silver while using the silver background Rockets logo. My desktop looks very stylish now. Great job. I think the new logo's white background color has to change.

    Here's my response:


    WHO CARES? IT'S A F++++ING LOGO! I wouldn't care if the Rockets changed their name to the Houston Fartknockers if it meant winning a championship.

    It's a logo.

    Logos do not deserve 385 messages.

    Ive said before in this thread that i didnt like the logo. If the wanted to have a simple look , they should have followed some of the timeless logos that were shown earlier-- San Fran 49ers one, Cubs, Lakers.


    Heres one i designed in like 15 and to me it looks simple and better than that R. It could be used as a templete- and be improved upon towards a final logo.

    If anyone from the Rockets organization reads this...

    VERY, VERY, VERY, disapointing logo change.

    About as exciting as vanilla ice cream.

    Good lord how many years of planing and this is the best you can do?

    I dont know who to blame, the design group or the front office for OKing the design.

    VERY BORING.

    I dunno I'm sure the color scheme will change so maybe the new colors will look good... or something.

    WOW, I am so disappointed I cant believe this is our new logo?

    IS THIS THE BIG SPLASH? THAT LOGO IS HORRIBLE. WELL STILL BE THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE LEAGUE WHEN IT COMES TO UNIFORMS. ANYWAY, IT WONT MATTER WHAT THEY WEAR NEXT YEAR IF THEY CANT GET YAO TO PUT ON SOME WIEGHT AND GET HIM THE BALL IN THE LOW POST....................:p

    Definetly a little Goth --- didn't the designer do costumes for Dracula? To me it looks like an R with blood dripping from the bottom

    OK, I tried to read all through the responses but couldn't do it.

    I think the new logo looks great! At first I was a little disappointed, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. I like the simplicity and how the R also looks like an H. I also like the fact that it is going through a hoop; kinda remminds me of the Heat logo.

    One more thing: the HC article this morning says the Rockets released caps w/ the new logo 10 days ago to various people around Houston. I am SHOCKED that no one on clutchcity got a pic of the new logo before the Chronicle. You would think with all the stalkers we have on this website someone would have snapped at least one photo of the cap and posted it here. ;)

    They were making logos in the 70's that may have more complexity than this logo. This looks like Rockets management set aside 15 minutes and a box of crayons one day to come up with a new logo. Maybe they figured screw it, no matter what we come up with, it will be an improvement over the current logo.
