Not expecting anything major kind of like last year. Probably just trade spare parts for more spare parts. Hopefully Morey doesn't do anything like he did last year where he traded AB...he would've been useful in the playoffs last year

    I said no.

Not because I don't think DM is not trying but because there is a limited number of players that we can acquire that can really improve the team and I don't think those players are available.

Do I think Denver or Phoenix are willing to trade Lawson or Dragic for the NO pick and whatever else the Rockets would be willing to give up? No. Do I hope one of them will? Sure as hell I do. Furthermore I don't think DM is just going to give away valuable assets like the NO pick or Clint Capela for someone that doesn't make a serious improvement to the team.

Smith and Brewer have turned the Rockets bench into one of the best in the NBA. Once TJ comes back off of his injury and has time to get back into game shape, I think we would be hard pressed to find any team with as good of a bench as Terry, Brewer, Jones & Smith.

If we move D-mo I'm going to be pissed.

Yep , the bench went from a liability to a strength ... BUT there is still one glaring hole on this roster - a facilitator other than Harden.

Shouldn't Daryl Morey take a step back and look what he has in T-Jones and DMo remember OKC had Harden KD Westbrook Ibaka and broke it up and now they wish they could redo it all over again

I know we need a PG and a back up C but I don't know I'm just putting it out there

I can't understand how so many here are so easily willing to let go of DMo. It is very obvious to me that he has the potential to be a very special player in this league. He is currently or second best option on offense behind Harden and his improvement in the post from last year is amazing. He is young and is still finding his way in the league and actually has the ability to improve not only in coming years, but as the Rockets progress through this season. And people want to give him for Dragic or Love? Hell no!

With all the talk of Lin only fans, and Harden only fans, it seems to me there are some on these boards who are Morey only fans. The Rockets could have all-stars at every position and it wouldn't be enough. It seems every thread turns into who the Rockets are going to get next and who they are going to give up to get them. We are just now starting to regain some of the chemistry we lost when bringing in Smith and to a lesser degree Brewer, and now we want to start over again?

I love the Rockets. I have never rooted for another team. I want them to them to win a championship as much as anyone on these boards. I have a 15 year old daughter that watches every game with me and I want she and I to get to witness a Rockets championship like I was blessed to do with my father. I understand the greatness that Morey pulled off in bringing Harden and Howard to Houston. I also admire the way he has strengthened the depth of this team bringing in players such as KPap, Brewer, and even Smith. But at some point we have to dance with the ones the brought us. We see how good players such as Dragic and Lowery have become after leaving the Rockets. I would hate to see Dmo, and to a lesser degree KPap become great players on another team.

I voted no only because I believe the price for Dragic will be too steep.

TJ will not start over DMo when he comes back. If anything, there won't be room for TJ, with Josh Smith now filling TJ's role.

I agree, but I don't think there is one available. The two that everyone on this board seams to be begging for is Dragic and Lawson but I don't think either are truly available. Someone like Rubio can't stay healthy and even if he could, he would be a completely offensive liability playing next to James Harden IMO.

this is such a stupid question. of course a major move will be made we have been told so by a board insider. he said we will either trade for Rubio, Bledsoe, dragic or rondo.

Definitely, he will try to do that. However, I don't think he will be fine standing pat at all. He knows the very thin margin between victory and defeat.

I agree it will be very hard to achieve, therefore a small but potentially helpful move, like getting Mo Williams may be possible as a last resort.

Morey never stands pat and the NOP and Dmo is for sure on trading block along with a possible Papa, Terry Schved, etc. He would send TJ out instead of Dmo but IMO TJ is useless as a trade piece right now.

You've made so many of these polls. What's the point of them? It's not like Morey consults the fans for his decisions anyway.

Has there ever been a trade deadline when Morey didn't make a move?

I doubt Morey wants to trade DMo. Any trade outcome that doesn't involve an All-Star in return for DMo would result in many more losses.

Not a bad idea at all. We have enough bigs with Jones coming back.

Pretty sure they will. The Brewer/Shved trade was a "win now" move. Sure they still maintained flexibility, but they did trade away 3 2nd round picks.

I doubt DMo is on the block unless a top 15-20 player becomes available.

Phoenix has a really tough stretch coming up. If they fall behind OKC by a healthy margin, I could see us trade something like the NOP 1st, NYK 2nd, Papa, and TJones for Dragic.
