yes, but that's what i'm talking about. his effort on defense needs to get back to his elite level again. he needs to be the defensive force we all know him to be. i know the cavs suck on defense, but lebron taking plays off isn't helping. at the very least, him playing with effort can rub off of them and hopefully build chemistry. on a side note, kyrie is absolutely embarrassing austin rivers in front of his dad. what a horrible debut for doc's son.
Lebron coasts a lot last year too. He has to save his energy for the playoffs. He's picking his spots, and his overall energy is much higher since he returned. He was so poor energy wise prior to that.
It is absolutely mystifying how we seem to be the only team that just has no clue how to play against the Clippers.

Bill Simmons was so hyped up for the Clippers at the beginning of the season. Now he's done a complete 180 on Doc Rivers being the GM.

That's why Lebron is by far the best player in the league. Unstoppable on offense, and wants to guard a beast on defense. Takes a ton of energy to do that.
