Cliff's is probably the most Katyesque place out there, in case you get homesick. If you're into Whole Foods then you're not parking-hell-adverse, so why not creep just a smidge inside the loop for once in your life and do Liberty Kitchen. Relish is overrated. Dish Society isn't bad. And y'all people love Barnaby's, so... Adair Kitchen goes hard for breakfast, not sure what the lunch menu looks like but I imagine it's alright.
Great falafel, but moes you need to get out more Also a winner. Check out the lunch specials at Bayou City Pasta and Seafood on Richmond just inside the loop. Pretty good gumbo and 1/2 poboy combo deal.
What are you eating? I decided between this and Whole Foods. I didn't want to go back down Post Oak so I went back way over to Ekko's instead. This one will be had soon. Ziggy, I'll see if my visa's been approved, then I'll try out Liberty.
Amazing Philly cheesesteaks. I was just at the Bellaire location a few days ago and can vouch for it.
Shyte. RM95 - give me some good places in Katy. All I'm close to is the chains on I-10 and the crap on Highway 6. The only thing I found remotely decent over here so far was Orleans' Seafood Kitchen.
Here are our favorites: Italian - Antonia's on Katy Mills Dr. or 3 Olives at Peek and Westheimer Pkwy. DaVinci's on Fry is amazing, but that's a special meal. Tex-Mex - LaFinca (we go to the one on Westheimer Pkwy close to Cinco Ranch Blvd.) Burgers - J-Dub's Burger Barn in Old Katy Wings - Wild Wing Cafe Seafood/Cajun - Captain Tom's, Orleans or Babin's Pizza - so many, but we frequent Rosa's on Mason and Joe 5-Star in Old Katy the most Brazilian - Alegria at Katy Ranch Crossing Indian - Mantra on Mason Mediterranean - Ephesus on Mason Variety - Texas Borders is pretty good...it's been in Katy since the early 90s. We should grab a beer and watch a game.
the new whole foods is right across my office building... get the spinach wrap with pesto spread, provolone, grilled chicken, artichokes and other veggies.... pressed and get their homemade potato chips.... its really good
My favorites at Thai Gourmet are the Royal Seafood and the Red Curry Beef. Both can be had in lunch portion, as can most things on their menu. You just have to ask.
