I don't think we are seriously looking at him. Probably just driving the price up. It would take Terry + Papa + 3 small contracts to take him

I would like to see the Suns start Lopez and Lopez alongside Morris and Morris with Zoran running the point.
Woj better apologize for his poor taste "probing" comment. Who is the anti-probing lobby, I need to let them know what's happening.
And it worked! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Brooklyn is "standing pat at this time," on a Lopez deal, Nets source tells Yahoo.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/556156695479468032">January 16, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Woj says that we are probing him, not after him. The Gynecologist is just doing his job. My guess is that, as rumored in the Rondo situation, even if the Rockets don't necessarily feel that Lopez is someone they'd want, they might participate in the bidding a) as a way to drive up the final price paid by whoever gets Lopez (OKC?), and b) in case there is a deal that is too good to pass up. Doesn't hurt to just talk.
So many weird angles on this. One, he has a player option for next season, but wouldn't he probably take it and wait for the cap to increase? You can bet that he'd want to be a starter, so maybe that would play into whether he takes the option or not? It also hints at where the Rockets think Dwight's health is at. After going through the Yao Ming years, it's no surprise Morey bitterly held onto Asik as long as possible or that he might raise an eyebrow in Lopez's direction. I think the most likely theory has already been mentioned, a three way trade for Dragic.
Thank god! Morey you are a hero. I thought OKC was going to make out like bandits with this. The Batman we needs
