We're nearing the half-way point of the season. Who do you consider to be the MVP so far?

Surely this poll will be unaffected by bias.

Steph Curry is that clear choice. Elite numbers combine with an elite record equals MVP. Some people complain about the hype/love the warriors got before the season started, but I'm pretty sure no pundits or analyst had them going 30-5.

My vote was Stephen Curry. Its between him and James Harden, right?

    Curry: 27.4 PER, 9.4 BPM & 7.9 VORP, 8.3 RPM & 8.0 WAR team is 30-5.
    Harden: 26.8 PER, 8.5 BPM & 7.9 VORP, 6.2 RPM & 7.2 WAR, team is 27-11.

    Lillard also looks pretty good:

    Lillard: 23.2 PER, 6.8 BPM & 6.5 VORP, 6.3 RPM & 7.3 WAR, team is 30-8.

Agreed. Thanks for putting up the various numbers, i was lazy lol. The per 36 numbers along with the +/- numbers also favor curry.

I also have lilard third. He's like a slightly less efficient, less playmaking but more athletic and explosive Stephen curry. His performance in the clutch has also been unbelievable.

Trying to be unbiased and going to say it's 60/40 split favoring Beard over Steph. Portland has quietly taken the #2 spot so I feel like Lillard definitely should be in the convo somewhere.

Steph Curry, his team is just doing so well and he's putting up great stats as well.

    Hard on close second though

    Its Curry vs Harden.
This is the only chance either of them have to win MVP because its going to be a two way race between LeBron and Durant for the next 6-7 years.

what was the point of asking this in the dish? Its Harden, but there will be bias regardless.

Hard to argue with GSW's record. Rockets need to get #2 seed to help Harden's chances, unless Harden's keeps rolling with the efficiency stats "since Brewer."

fun fact, no MVP since '81 Moses Malone has been on a team with less than #2 seed. For instance, it's common for ppl to question Rose's MVP, but the Bulls had the best record in the NBA that year.

Where would be a better place to ask it?

    Damn. That's a downer.
We might be able to get away with it as a #3 seed, if we can the #3 record overall.
Which means the Hawks have to start sucking.

    Dis is not looking good.

I'll go w/ Harden, but I'll be only be really spitting mad if Curry wins it. Gasol would be a good choice.

No he wouldnt. Conley and Randolph are more valuable to the gizzard than Gasol. Watch games.

I do watch games. How many DPOY awards do Conley and Randolph have again?
