The Nets value Mason Plumlee a ton-- he was allegedly the deal-breaker in a potential Deron Williams to SAC deal. How do you think our own young PF/C compare with Plumlee on the court or in the trade market?

Which one of them has better motor, higher bball IQ, and more sneaky athleticism? Which one of them would a team prefer to have in return for a high level player?

As athletic as Plumlee is he is still not that long limbed and would suffer greatly from any minor loss of athleticism. Dwight has Plumlee beat due to his longer everything even with a drop in athleticism.

Dmo is way better. He's on his way to becoming a star, he just needs more touches

DMo. In 2nd half it seemed DMo was on Plumlee more than in the first half, and that he definitely won that matchup.

But watching Plumlee outplay Dwight on so many possessions, especially the first half, has me a little worried about Dwight.

Maybe we could trade Dwight for Plumlee and have them both.

    ;)

The real question is, would you have Nikola or Donatas?

Plumlee is just a putback specialist, he can hardly shoot from further than 5 foot

DMo, but not by as much as y'all think. Plumlee has been very productive this season.

Perhaps I am misremembering, but I distinctly remember Plumlee getting rebounds and out hustling Dwight on several plays in the first half.

I don't know-- perhaps it really was Dmo's fault, which is why he was critical of his own first half play in the post game interview with Bullard.

I don't know. Honestly, Plumlee is pretty damn good. He deserves to be a starter in this league. I like them both. Is DMo's defense a little better? I don't know. Plumlee seems to be a little more assertive as a scorer where DMo seems to be just as happy setting a screen as abusing someone in the post. I haven't seen enough of Plumlee to say who is better but I like him.
