Harden is so much better than Klay Thompson. When I hear announcers say so and so is the best 2 way player they are indirectly saying Harden sucks at D! Hardens has been every bit as good on D.
The thing about Klay Thompson is that he's very reliant on Steph Curry getting him easy looks. He's mildly better creating for himself this year, but still not nearly at the level of Harden, and he definitely doesn't create for his teammates.

Thing is: If Waiters plays well for 2-3 weeks and they trade RJ, will Waiters revert to form and come crashing back to earth? I say yes and OKC's goose will be cooked. I'm as sick of RJ as anyone else. He needs to get his act together, learn how to play off the ball so he can (consistently) function at a high level with both KD & WB on the floor. But I have less faith in Waiters. Will be interesting to watch. I think OKC is stale and not going anywhere in the playoffs. But if Waiters plays hard, unselfish and blends in well with KD & WB the rest of the season and playoffs, OKC might make the Finals. One thing we can count on: Waiters knows he isn't as good as KD or WB and shouldn't have a problem grasping the pecking order. Maybe there is hope.
OKC fan? I was curious what Thunder fans thought of the Waiters trade and how it would effect Reggie Jackson.
Honestly, Thompson is nothing more than an elite set up shooter who can play above average defense. He is a good defender but I really think it's getting overrated. He's had to become a good defender or else the Splash Bros would never work simply because they would give up more points than they could score. Credit to him but to think that makes him better than Harden or even Butler is outrageous. To me, Butler a better defender than Thompson and can actually create for himself on offense, something Thompson doesn't do. If Thompson isn't getting set up by coming off of screens or by passes, he doesn't bring much on offense. This is why Harden should always be head and shoulders above Thompson, for the fact that Harden creates for himself and others at an elite level.
Green is getting paid this offseason. I think he is better than Parsons. Much better defender with slightly less offense. Hate him but dude can play.
