I'm glad they're back to the business at hand (spy-ops). I dig a good "vice" story as much as any old coke-addled Floridian, but...these folks belong in the international espionage game. Good times. Cobra whiskey and fatherhood looking good on Sterling...
It's certainly different. Slapstick stuff is mostly gone. I get why people are moving away from it but I still like it. I think it's still very well done. But I'm also the guy that doesn't b**** about "the earlier seasons were better", I'm not crazy about Krieger the Bird, though. I think that was a bad move.
Archer was never a story driven show but the individual episodes this season definitely don't hold up as interesting on their own. That and they're really recycling/leaning on old jokes.
