I don't like Kubiak but I think if the 49ers hire him and keep Fangio they can keep winning and get something out of Kap. I don't really see a place for baby Shanny there though.

I'd like to see Kubiak or Mike teamed with Kyle Shannahan in Buffalo. It would be a good fit, in my opinion.

Bowles oversaw an elite defense on a back-to-back 10+ win playoff team that had worse QB prospects this year than the Texans.

Kyle has accomplished less as an OC than any other recent head coaching interview candidate in memory. Guys like Frank Reich, Pat Shurmur, Greg Roman, hell, even Marty Morningwheg would all be more deserving candidates based on the job they did as OC this year (even though none of them, baby-Shan included, should be a team's #1 choice).

Once their seasons are done, you also have Scott Linehan, Josh McDaniels, and Adam Gase that should/will all get priority over any of the above names.

I think the Browns would be stupid to dump Shanahan. Browns had Zero talent and he got something out of them. If they really want Manziel to work, Shanahan is the right coach for the job

he is very open minded and you have to be to get a tattoo on your ankle.
he is willing to make some tweaks to the offense to fit his qb. browns were hot until the houston defense and mallet tempo took their souls.

Shanahan released after one year; he actually asked for his release.

I'm talking about how Bowles has been interviewing for head coaching jobs going back to 2009...

And no one said Shanahan Jr is the team's #1 choice. Many teams interview candidates with no intentions of hiring them. But you can hate on Jr all you want but apparently the NFL feels differently than you do. Look at the super bowl champs with their eye on him.

Looks like Kyle is the one who wants out.... Not vice versa. The dude has options and I don't blame him for wanting to go.
