Meh. Two teams playing poorly, Irving went nuts, got the W. Hopefully at the very least they feel better going into New York tomorrow.

Perhaps we should start Brewer over Ariza, Terry over Beverly.

We need some internal comptition in this team.

Did you watch who guarded Irving in the 4th? Come on. Watch the games. Ariza shut him down.

Josh Smith post-game, with profound words: "The ceiling is through the roof!"

Man, no credit given to us for the second half D on Irving. We were actively doubling him outside the 3 point line (Even with Dwight) and hounding him with different defenders. I'm not always impressed with the coaching staff, but they did a better job adjusting. Took a while, but I think part of that was Kyrie hitting ridiculous shots.

He had a great game off the bench. And that was a huge block and 3-pointer by Brewer at the other end. Those things swing the momentum and win games for you.

McHale needs to do this more often. Play around with the lineup and find a combination that works. Don't just automatically revert to the starters late in the 4th. The bench was playing well against Chicago. He went back to the starters and they gave the game away. Same thing happened against the Wizards a couple weeks ago.

Tonight he left Harden on the bench most of the 4th, played Terry instead of Bev, and had Smith in there instead of D-Mo(who was merely ok in this game). The result? Dwight asserts himself without Harden or D-Mo out there and the rest of the players did their part. Granted, you can get away with this more against a depleted mediocre Eastern Conference team, but it's still a strategy he needs to keep using.
