    Funny. I thought players in this league who were MVP candidates got star treatment. Harden's being reffed like a damn rookie lately.

    I guess if you wanna look at the glass as half full, the Rockets have gotten nothing from Bev or D-Mo, little from Dwight, James is off, Kyrie is unconscious, yet they still lead by 1 at the half. You figure it can only get better from here unless some other Cavs players step up.

    I'm not mad at all with the way hes been playing he is doing a lot of other stuff really well. It just sucks how theybofficate him so inconsistently. I hope his shot picks up. Having another playmaker out there (Mchale) will take so much pressure off him and open up the floor.

    We keep begging for PT for Canaan, but it never happens. He didn't even get into the Miami game til later than the rest of the bench despite the Rockets being up by 30. I think McHale really doesn't wanna play him for some odd reason.

    Fortunately it's only early January, but right now, with not much change, this team will be lucky to get out of the first round.

    They need to click, so there's plenty of time for that. They need to figure out what works besides Harden on the offensive end. They need some shooting they can count on.

    absolutely pathetic first half. coming off a bad loss with several losses in the past couple weeks, this team looks sloppy, disorganized, and at times disinterested. playing against a battered team missing 3 starters (james/shumpert/mozgov) they look like they don't even deserve the 6th seed in the west right now.

    Not much is working offensively other than Harden. It's pretty clear you can't rely on Bev and Ariza to hit 3-pointers consistently and they clearly can't slash to the hoop with efficiency. So at least one of them needs to be replaced(Bev is the obvious candidate since upgrading at PG is a priority for the Rockets).

    They also need to figure out what kind of offense they wanna run. Inside-out? Pick-and-roll? Post up Harden? All of the above? Most of the time they look clueless out there.

    Doesn't matter what month it is. Unless you've proven you can put it together, you're not going to get anywhere. Spurs lost to the pistons last night. Spurs don't have to worry. Rockets do. The team seems pretty content on first round exits and not contending.
