The hiphp attitude made SC uniquely funny because had these old white guys quoting rappers whike talking about sports. Stu did that, lol.

Whether you're white or black or whatever, he is an icon. He epitomized "the other side of the pillow"! Our thoughts & prayers go out to the Scott family and friends.

Grew up watching him almost every day, often times multiple times a day. Very sad when I heard this.

In Australia growing up, Sports Centre was one of the very few ways we saw NBA highlights. I always got a little more excited to watch when I saw Stuart Scott at the table. He was the only one who made Rockets losses easier to take.

    Damn shame.

I don't know if there is a broadcasters HOF but Scott is a first ballot entrant. The guy was brilliant. RIP

    Gone but not forgotten.

There should be a Stuart Scott marathon somewhere, where we can watch Stuart Scott do highlights for hours on end.

Harden is getting eaten alive on Twitter and IG because he misspelled Stuart's name on his post.....can't believe he, or whoever runs it, hasn't corrected it.

I actually just had a sit down a couple of weeks ago and binged on Youtube of all the SC commercials.

There was one constant in all of my personal favourites - they all had Stuart Scott.

It is a damn shame, 49 is too early to leave us.
