You have to give credit where credit is due.

Here are some of the adjustments he made tonight.

    1. Started DMo over JSmith.
    2. Benched Dorsey for Pappa
    3. Howard first big to bench
    4. Howard focus in post against 2nd team
    5. Took DMo out the last minute to keep him from getting his 3rd foul.
    6. Had the courage to embarrass the starters by benching them for lackluster play

I have been hard on McHale but tonight - he took charge, and did what is right for the team.

He did make some very essential rotational adjustments, but keep in mind we just blew out a 14-20 eastern conference team.

DaDakota good of you to give props where it is due. Mchale is doing exactly what needs to be done and with has been given to him. If we continue to play like we did tonight this team wil go really far!

Yes the rotations where good. Over time I think Papa and smith will develop good chemistry in the second unit.

Papa brings that extra something when ever he is on the floor. It may not always show up in the box score but he makes winning plays.

I am glad he is back on the floor.

Thought about this during the game. This is how you take control of the team. Although this game was against a weak opponent, this could be the spark needed for the duration of the season.

When much needed adjustments finally get made, it makes bad games not so bad.

But we're SUPPOSED to blow out a 14-20 Eastern Conference team at home. The Rockets have been struggling against even mediocre opponents lately. The Charlotte game just a few days ago was pretty close until the Rockets finally pulled away in the 2nd half.

I'll credit McHale for making adjustments. I just wish it didn't take 28 point blowout losses at New Orleans to force his hand. Papa should never have been benched just because we acquired Brewer. Let's hope Canaan's nice performance in garbage time tonight reminds McHale that he has a pretty decent backup point guard at his disposal should Bev's offensive struggles continue.

McHale hasn't been as bad as previous years this year. I genuinely think he wants DMo to start songs out was the front office that was pushing for Smoove too start. By big knock on him is his not playing of Cannan and papa

If Smith can stay in this role and eventually work his way into the starting lineup, I think Smith is a keeper. This shows he cares about winning and is a team player. I still think he has the talent to be starting over DMO and jones.

one game makes up for multiple badly coached games before this?

im not saying fire him, but im not giving him that much credit just yet. after this road trip if we can go 5-1 or 6-0 ill give credit.

I hope so too. Let Canaan play through mistakes, as long as he putting in an effort. He is young and needs more minutes, to restore his confidence.

I am semi-skeptical about that though.

Yep. I give him credit for his changes. I said after the Pelicans game that Smith should not start, but I didnt think Mchale had to balls to do it since it was a promise for him to sign. I also thought Papa should be in rotation. So I give him his props

i esp like putting kostas in the rotation again. harden and ariza need more rest. one main reason for ariza's terrible shooting is cuz he's playing too much. kostas and brewer are solid wings off the bench.

dorsey can still give you something but he should be spot minutes player. against teams with big frountcourts he gets minutes. teams like the heat we should play kostas more. kostas should in every game, but he's a good small ball pf.

i nefer thought he'd have the sotnes to bench the whole starting lineup. that was something popvich does!

    Yeah credit to him.

Morey did him a solid with the 3 year contract but when they sack him when he cannot deliver a WC title or Championship it won't be pretty.

    History isn't pretty.
