Les is up to something this offseason, the question is what is it? He will not enter a new era in Houston Rocket basketball without a move that will attract attention across the league and get some improvement in ticket sells. I don't know what he is up to. All I see is quality FAs on the market are going to other teams and there are fewer and fewer of them left available. All the trade rumors so far had better remain rumors.

What are u talkin about? There's only rumor and speculation that so and so will sign with so and so. No ink...no deal. Look at Rashard last year who ended up staying the Sonics and just bluffed at going to Dallas.

they aren't getting O'neal or anyone close to it. Why even bring it up. If your really so anxious for it to happen go play NBA Live 2003 and trade him to the rockets and play a season. That's the only way O'neal ends up in a rockets uniform

In the last year Les has brought in one of the biggest celebrities on the planet in Yao Ming, parted ways with the city's most sucessful coach, closed down compaq center/summit and opening a brand new arena in the heart of downtown, has gotten rid of the old uniforms and bringing and the new. That is alot of change right there. What more do you guys want? If I had to guess I say Robbert Horry or Rasheed Wallace. Being realistic than Im hoping Karl Malone. But no "big spash" is needed I would think JVG is big enough to get the city excited about this team again.
Thats all I am expecting! The Coaches are the Big Splaaash! If there is anything else it will be a pleasant surprise!

PLease dont change anything, just let us evolve under JVG. Next season we will improve with two more wins and make the playoffs. Thats all we want, no more no less.That will give JVG a chance to realy see the problems in action and he can make the gutsy changes next year,when he is truly in command of the situation. After this season[03/04] under JVG, I wouldnt be surprised if some players are asking to be traded. JVG is taking his job very seriously and there is no way that he will put up with the selfish sloppy play of last season[02/03] PS. I wouldn't be bothered about what Les is doing. I would watch CD if you want to get a lead as to what is going on!
We need a new player or two, but only as long as we don't get ripped off trading Eddie Griffin. Eric Snow for Eddie Griffin would definitely qualify as getting ripped off. Getting Rasheed Wallace on the other hand would probably help this team to 55 wins next season...
