This question if for all you fellas who have a girlfriend, wife, whatever or have ever had one. I was at the local Wal-Mart a couple days ago with my friend and my girlfriend called me and asked me to pick up some feminine products for her, for you slow ones out there thats tampons, maxi-pads, douche, etc. Anyway, she wantd me to pick her some up and I said sure what kind and she told me and I went and got them and paid for them. My friend I was with was laughing the whole time and said he would never do that and if his lady ever needed those things she would have to make a trip by herself and purchase them. So my question is, if your woman needed you to get them or asked you to go get them, would you? I didn't know it was such a big deal until my friend was laughing at me and saying all that. Anyway, would you?
I do it all the time. It's no big deal. Like people are going to think it's mine? I found buying condoms to be more embarassing.
I have picked up feminine products for my wife before. No big deal. I think those that are insecure with themselves are the ones that have the problems.
Exactly, I don't see anything embarassing about purchasing these items yet a lot of men do. I would be more embarassed if I were a woman purchasing these items because then people know that they are getting their monthly visitor.
Hi, uh…let me have one of those Porno magazines, large box of condoms, a bottle of Old Harpor, a couple of those panty shields, and some illegal fireworks, and one of those disposable enemas. No, make it two.
Good for all of you who don't have a problem with this! It's so comforting to know that not all guys out there cover their ears and go "la la la...I'm not listening" when the topic comes up! I don't know that I've ever had a guy pick these up for me but I do know that I have bought them when I was shopping with my guy. From a girl's point of view, I have felt weird buying these products sometimes, but not always. It's just a part of life, even though it really sucks! Yeah to the guys on the BBS!
they do, but only until the next customer brings up the next wacky product or does something stupid... trust me, cashiers don't go all day talking about one guy buying femine hygeine products. if you are secure enough in your own sexuality you should have no problem purchasing these products.
Pun, is your friend twelve? Cause that's the last age I can remember thinking tampons were funny. Does he have some good doo doo jokes, too?
No but he laughing because I was buying them not at the things. A lot of men still feel they cannot buy these things in public because either it's too embarassing, they don't want others to know they have a female companion, or something else idiotic. It's just like a lot of men won't buy underwear, bras, lingerie for their ladies or even go into one of these stores like Victoria's Secret. I have no problem buying these thing either, especially if my girl is going to look smokin' when I see her in it.
All I can say is that the world takes on a whole new look once you are married. If my wife needs those products, I don't mind getting them for her. Besides you score serious points for doing it without complaining. These points will turn into nice homecooked dinners and such later on.
No problem. When I see guys buying them, I don't laugh, and I noticed alot of guys don't mind either, or they are hiding it really well.
You can always wearing a sunglass to make yourself less uncomfortable when purchasing these products...
