anybody knows where I can find air and hotel deal online? I am thinking about traveling to some exciting places this month. right now, I narrow my choices to: Australia, Mexico, Itlay, Spain and Rome. anybody has any suggestions?
I haven't used it but once, and I don't know if it works for overseas hotels, but I had good luck with Hotwire.
www.bid4vacations.com is a great place to place bids auction style on vacation packages. I've seen super delux $10,000 all inclusive trips go for around $2000 on there.
www.continental.com Each week they put out cheap flight specials. They are even cheaper if you are a one pass member. One year I flew to San Diego for $29 bucks and 15,000 miles.
Go to funjet.com and you can price airfare and hotels. Once you get the price call a local travel agent and ask them to check to see if they can do any better.
I've been to Cancun, it's really not all that. If you were interested in going somewhere like that, I would reccomend Cozumel. I've always had alot more fun there, and it's not quite as 'touristy'.
I'm staying at a Holiday Inn in Long Beach at the moment and paid $46/night (I think it was $46) and rented a full-size (Ford Taurus) car for $22/day. The hotel was from priceline.com and the car was from hotwire.com.
holiday inn is a good idea. i believe that for a small fee laundry service is included. socks are easy to get dirty.
