I think Tampa will go Winston. I understand the order isn't set but Watt v. Winston would be a cool opener.
Man the Texans catch a huge break for the 2nd year in a row. They had the easiest schedule of any team in the NFL this year and next year they'll still play Jax and Tenn as well as the NFC South.
I'm fed up playing those teams man. Bored out of my mind with them. Let teams with rivalries play their rivals. Aside from that figure something else out. Divisional play is turning jack into a dull boy.
I agree with that but only with the south divisions. They are really just thrown together and don't have any real rivalries. I used to be a Saints fan before the Texans and I never felt that strongly about playing the Falcons.
This time last year everyone thought that the NFC east was garbage and so would the AFC north. I'm not going to look into the schedule and feel good about our chances next year. The players and coaches know better. We have to improve in all phases to compete.
No . . I don't count those as AUTO LOSSES but more like Competive games I am an Optimist .. . I seriously think we could go 15-1 *IF* Mallet is up to snuff . . .. . worth all the confidence other have in him Rocket River
Digging next years opponents. 10-6 would be my guess if we still haven't solidified the starting QB spot. Otherwise, I would expect more.
The steelers schedule wow Along with their division games, they have to play 2 of Pats, Broncos or Colts, Seahawks, 49ers, Rams and Cardinals
Who was thinking that? Besides Dallas turning into a bonafide contender, the other results weren't that far fetched (Philly still good, NYG and Washington mediocre/bad). For the AFC South, Cleveland was still bad, Baltimore was so-so, the Steelers were expected to be improved, and Cincy was already a playoff team. I think what ended up happening this year was exactly what people thought the divisions would be... and as it is, the Texans lost to a bad Giants team along with the other playoff teams (but beat Baltimore).
The only game the Texans won that they weren't supposed to win was the Ravens game; and the only game they lost that they were supposed to win was the Giants game. I count 9 games they're supposed to win from next years schedule based on what we know. Three other games that may fit that category depending on what the teams look like next year.
7 automatic wins: JAX x2, TEN x2, Bills, Jets, Bucs. If we get ANY positive QB play, we could be 12-4.
1. Cowboys being good 2. Steelers being good 3. Browns being decent (they were rolling for one stretch) That's 3 out of the 8 teams being better than expected. On the flip side no teams were worse than we thought. That's a huge swing.
our final record will depend a lot on who the QB is (captain obvious) so everyone stating final record gtfo
Too early to tell... Off season moves (coaches and players and the draft) will be made for most if not all of the teams. Right now would just be judging on these teams as is. But unlike this past season _ I don't see a gauntlet of rookie quarterbacks the Texans will be facing.
Don't forget, more than likely 7 teams make the playoffs starting next year. Under that scenario this year our very own Texans would be playing the Broncos this weekend. Also the Eagles would be visiting the Packers. Those are some tasty games, too bad that didn't happen this year. But changes are coming so considering our 2015 opponents, good chance for playoffs!!!
