does their waiver claim effectively eliminate any obligation the rockets had to black and open back up the cap space? (not that it's critical, just curious)
of all the players we've cut over the years, this guy seemed one of the most likeable by far. with his work ethic i can see him staying in the league filling a larry smith type role for many years
Yea, I'm still surprised they cut him instead of Dorsey. I know Dorsey was guaranteed more, but Black looked like he could contribute at least a little. Dorsey looks terrible.
Dorsey has to be one of the worse guys in Morey's resume. He was a bad draft day pick up in '08, never really got out of the DLeague. He was a bad signing this time around six years later. There are cheaper hustle banger out there who can do what Dorsey does. Ironically, both Asik and Dragic were picked later than Dorsey in the same year.
