I think you keep Mallet and maybe give Keenum a training camp invite, you keep small Johnson if he's cheap, you keep Newton so long as he doesn't break the bank, you keep Pickett at the league minimum, you keep Brooks Reed if he's cheap, you keep Kareem Jackson at all costs. The rest don't really matter.
Ugh, that's a tricky question. I'd give him probably 5 mil a year guaranteed with performance bonuses. I'd also make him earn it year by year like Kaep's deal. Maybe as much as 8 mil, but that's the absolute most.
Kareem will stay. Andre will hopefully stay. I think Joseph will stay for cheap, too. Cushing, I'm on the fence about. Hope he stays. In my opinion, you go inside linebacker, wide receiver, and corner, in no particular order, depending in your board, in the first three rounds. What pick are we?
I am thinking a 2~3 yr deal is possible AT THE LEAST Most folx seem to think he won't take it That the only way to lock him up would to pay him STARTER money If we do that. . . we are STUCK with him . . . and BO'B will be pressures to start him no matter what Rocket River
he's going to be cut. business is business, and texans can't afford his awful play and massive cap hit.
Spoiler Thanks for posting! I think we should let Brooks Reed go - too expensive for what you are getting.
I believe it would have been the 10th pick (if St. Louis wins) based on strength of schedule. But at this point it's probably more important the have a winning culture than a higher draft pick.
Knowing Rick Smith, we probably aren't getting anyone in free agency. Sanchez and Thomas are not unreasonable choices if you consider the needs of the team, though both are not likely to be on the Texans.
