Parker is struggling and might sit but Mills is nearly ready to hit the floor.

swear the West is stupid deep. I may be reaching but is there anyway teams can switch conferences? There's got to be some kind of realignment. That's just me though.

I've always kind of assumed they'd make it- they've been in the playoffs annually for a large fraction of my life. But given how competitive the West is, it's possible that they just squeak in, or get out in the first round.

True, but I don't think they've been this low this far into the season during the Duncan-Pop era.

If they still lose when Leonard returns, then talk to me.

I still have them as the favorites.

I think it is possible that they don't make the playoffs. It is unlikely, but possible. The Suns or Pelicans could be good enough to win 50 games.

If the Spurs do make it to the playoffs and be healthy, they will be a contender no matter what seed they are. They've proven it year after year.

Spurs and Rockets have the same point differential

    Rockets 3rd and Spurs 7th

The bottom line is that at least two good teams are going to miss the playoffs in the West. Safe money would be on Phoenix and New Orleans being on the outside, but you never know. Meanwhile the East is a pathetic joke.

Maybe I am just hoping it ends up that way in the West for the Rockets' benefit...

Never count out the Spurs , they always find a way to be there in the end. They will make it once they get their key players back fully healthy. Imagine playing a 7 or 8 seeded Spurs.

I do believe that Pop will have to stop resting his starters so often because the OKC Thunder are coming!

They will make it, OK and SA will be the most dangerous 7th and 8th seeds in history.

No way they miss the playoffs, not with Pop in charge and to mention they've been injured . Again no way they miss the playoffs they'll turn it around post all star break

Spurs don't care about seeding in this years western conference. End of the season they probably finish with the 6th or 7th seed.

Yeah I could see us getting the one seed and getting knocked off in the first round. Big reason why I'm against the Mchale extension. My dream matchup would be the mavs in the first round. Blazers in the second and spurs in the wcf.

I think Pop is going for a new personal challenge. Win the championship as an 8th seed

If this holds (OKC/SA as the last 2 seeds), you might see a bunch of teams "tanking" to avoid the first 2 seeds in the first round the last 2 weeks of the season.
