Bosh would have came with Parsons as well if you want to play that game. This team would have been better with Bosh, and a defensive minded Parsons. Guess I ain't that crazy am I. Hey, I can play the hypothetical game as well?
Bosh was probably the greatest fit for Rockets in the whole league. Screw him because he cheated on us but thats the truth. Hits three at good rate,Nowitzki like midrange jumper, very good finisher around the rim, great ft shooter, solid defender, knows how to win, playoff experience with coldblooded attitude on crunch time, team player and being 3rd option wont distrupts his ego. I dont blame him because of his choice of staying in Miami, we're just too unlucky of couldnt getting him after being to close to it. I'm still butthurt.
I don't blame the guy. He was going to have to uproot his family as well. Plus Miami is pretty nice too....77 and sunny right now. I was disappointed that he didn't come here, but people need to chill out about his decision. And Bosh is clearly better than Smith.
There's no such thing as a defensive minded parsons, not anymore at least, his ego is the size of jupiter, in that role, with Bosh is one Ariza would have been FAR more suited to.
You didn't expect to get a fair response, did you? The fair question would be, If both of these guys were available as FA at the beginning of the season, which one would you want to pursue?
Dude got paid. That was all he cared about. He has been better defensively this year. I could be wrong though, just based off the eye test.
Bosh is the better player, but he'd be getting payed 20+ million if he was here. Smith for 2 million is way better.
What is that? Wishful thinking... These days Parsons only has a mind for offense, ladies, and dollars.
Who is better? Bosh. Who is a better fit? Bosh. Who would I rather have on the team with salary in mind? Smith.
Question is not specific enough. Bosh is definitely the better player, but I'd rather have Smith and his $2 million contract. Terry+Ariza+Brewer+Smoove is better than Chris Bosh because....DEPTH.
