Dwight typically has about 12 FG attempts a game. The rest are FTs. Sometimes he makes more, sometimes less. So 18 points on 12 shots is Dwight's norm. I don't expect Smith to be as efficient. I just hope that he concentrates on rebounding and defense, and pick up the garbage on offense.
Pretty much how I feel, he did ok tonight, was aggressive and made some great rebounds, also missed some big defensive assignments (to be expected as he is new) and took way too many shots.... Harden needs the ball in his hands EVERY possession.....especially late, and Smith had a couple where he went caveman out there. DD
Ignore him. He doesn't know what he's talking about. So much disrespect for tjones, it's stupid. I guess its out sight, out of mind... I bet he also thought dmo was a scrub not too long ago.
Looking at the shot chart, only 4 of those were way outside the paint. He definitely took a floater and a few hook shots that I didn't think were bad.
Can anyone here name another forward, or even another player on our team, who could have pulled down those two monster rebounds near the end of OT? Starting with the one that Smith reached over and took from 2 Grizzlies as though both of them were Donatas Motiejunas? I didn't think so.
Not at all. You just overvalue the home team's players, which is quite common. Nobody in the NBA gives a care about T-Jones except Rockets fans.
Smith has to play within the system, he took too many shots today. It's going to take some time to get an idea what he will bring to the team. He did some good things and some things that shake your head, we'll see if that continues.
TJones could. But they were quite impressive.... I would like us to not NEED those rebounds and make more shots, but still, those were huge. DD
In all fairness, Smith does not have any idea what the system is. It can only get better IMO unless he simply rather try to force the issue.
This guy can pass! I was watching on my crappy stream and when Josh Smith took it to the basket and suddenly Ariza was shooting an open 3 on the other side of the floor...bruh. I could not see it, but I bet it was special
And you know this how? Are you a gm? Do you work for an NBA front office? Stop talking out of your ass.
