It's surreal having a player on the Rockets when you just know he will get you a bucket when you need it. Down 3, down 2, tied, doesn't matter, Harden will get you the bucket you need. Don't mean to be disrespectful, but I didn't fell that about TMac or Yao. I still dont rank Harden above Tmac or Yao without playoff success but man this guy is Clutch in the regular season.

but curry has had help. Harden has been alone most of this season.

 

NBA League Pass blows. I missed the game, and for some reason because the game was on NBATV the game isn't available due to "blackout restrictions"???

Wow, great assessment. Next time study an opponent or any team for that matter and learn the game of basketball, it'll benefit you in a basketball forum.

Westbrook right now is right there with him.

It is incredible to watch.

Harden has a smarter BBALL IQ, but it's been fun watch Westbrook lately.

 

The refs gave him a nice welcome to Houston.

 

The evidence of not getting out of the first round more than once suggests otherwise. If Yao hadn't gotten injured vs Lakers that would have been the only other year we had a real chance. Every other year we would have had to win as big underdogs. Real contenders don't lose in the first round.

 

Ugly ass win. If anything this team should show you how flaw we are when it comes to coaching. Talent saved our asses against a zbo-less team. Imagine if he was playing.

Let us glorify this win and proclaim ourselves contenders. We are far from that.

 

I think the calls just got in Dwight's head. He was trying to match Gasol's physical play, and got whistled for it. I felt it was a little lop sided, both players were putting hands on each other, but Gasol would fall over or stumble when Howard got physical back.

That being said, just wanted to add that I'm proud of the way Josh played tonight. He hustled, for the most part, (Outside of I believe one three.. (The other was at the end of the quarter, not going to count that), and as someone mentioned a long jumper. He made his mind to take the ball to the basket rather than taking 15 foot jumpers. A positive sign to take from a game with one team shoot around under his belt.

 

Any vids of that? Would love to see it.

The kid is an ass to people in the Texans forum when they disagree with him.

And that is about as quality a post as he will make.

 

great game. it shouldnt of even went to OT but carter hit a 3 from waaay downtown.

 

Dwight did show up in OT though. 4 for 4 from the foul line is pretty damn good(even if he did bank one in). Had McHale put him in a couple minutes earlier in regulation, the Rockets may have avoided the extra period altogether.

Great win by the Rockets. Smith shot it too much, but that's not surprising in his first game with the team. He was obviously trying to make an impact and he's never played with these guys before. The bench was terrific which is a welcome change of pace.

This one could factor in bigtime down the stretch if tiebreakers come into play.

 

I agree. He had a few 3's that were questionable. I can't remember if one of them was an air ball or not. Over the course of the game, he did look a lot more comfortable. Very excited to see how good this team can be.

 

Z-Bo slows the game down.

I guarantee that we would have been better off had he played.
