    Chill,

I think he was being sarcastic, and he shouldn't have assumed you weren't born here, the rest is directed at the administration.

Love it or leave it Khan! Love it or leave it!!!

I'm just ****ing with you Khan. I like screwing with people that I feel have an interesting amalgm afmasdfd of beliefs. It's educational for me to meet conservative homosexuals, for example.

But incidentally, "I can bet i've done much more for this country than you can even dream of sport." is a silly statement to make since you don't know me. It would be as silly as a random statement from me, eg, "I've paid more in taxes in 5 years than you'll make in 20".

Since I don't really know how much money you make... I should probably stick to something along the lines of "I've paid more in taxes in 5 years than you'll make in 12", for example.

ps, I'm still screwing with you.

Achebe...I got what you meant, and am surprised that Khan didn't....and I'm normally completely opposed to political correctnesss....

That siad, though, right now, in the USA, I can sort of understand why F.D. is a little hypersensitive to racial/cultural stereotyping, even if in jest?

    Agree?

Well Khan seems to be a little light on the logic, so I never really should have started my original post.

    Agree?

ps, which cultural stereotyping are you referring to? My rehash of Thurgood Marshall's criticism of Clarence Thomas? I wrote the post primarily, as pgabriel discerned, to make fun of the administration, also to make fun of our values...

but primarily just to joke around with a republican.

The Nazis were the best at that? Are you including the whole of human history or are you just using the last 100 years?

"Voice or no voice." Sorry, but in America we have a voice.

Keep whining about this, man. I still haven't heard of a single lefty who has "shut up" because a righty told him to.

The biggest issue is national security. When will the Dems figure that out?

The most sensational issue is national security. And it is easy for a simple minded president to govern a simple minded populace (one that watches COPs for the suffering or NASCAR for the crashes) when he focuses on the sensationalism.

The Dems are actually focusing on things that actually affect people. When are you going to figure that out?
