How about a little hand for Mo Taylor. Dude was on fire last night, and actually got in the thick of things down low a few more times than usual. 10-13 from the field, and all were NBN. Everytime he does something like this, makes me think about "what if" he could only do this on a regular basis. We know he could....problem is, he doesn't think so. ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
I still think that being foul-prone is this guy's BIGGEST problem, not his weight, or quickness, or even his rebounding. When the guy plays enough minutes, the guy produces. And when the guy doesn't get into foul trouble, the guy plays enough minutes. Pretty simple, IMHO. ------------------ Jazzkiller
I agree. Mo is fitting in well now, but mentally we have to get Mo to realize that he is one of the biggest pieces of the puzzle. Mo's low post scoring and rebounding (YES rebounding), is going to help this team tremendously as he becomes more and more comfortable in the system. Now we need Mo to lose some wait to add some quickness. ------------------ "I have a scale at home and it only goes up so far, I love that scale!" - Charles Barkley TNT Studios
Lose weight? Add quickness? HUH? Taylor is a rock! As for being quick...how many 6'9" players that weigh 260 can move like Taylor does? Maybe you are talking about TRAYLOR? ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he isn't fast to the basket, I'm talking about defense, he doesn't seem to be as fast. Maybe he's just not as quick footed as some players, which really isn't a problem. I'm not talking about dropping 30 pounds, just a few pounds, to add some quickness on defense. ------------------ "I have a scale at home and it only goes up so far, I love that scale!" - Charles Barkley TNT Studios
