How to get Value for Hakeem and Keep Cap Space.

    First, let me apologize for not doing the research and giving you specifics. I just do not have time right now.

    There is a way to get value for Hakeem and keep our cap space. We trade Hakeem for a draft pick or picks plus scrubs whose contracts expire at the end of the year.

    As long as the contracts expire at the end of this season, we would retain most of the cap space, except whatever the pick or picks would be worth.

    We would have more picks than we do now which are also tradeable commodities or could be used to satisfy picks we owe.

    Or we could trade and scatter.

    Causwell, Ellis, Mason and Majerle will get Miami Dream. They could then be renounced or traded for other future conditionals (w/ contract extensions).
